NO BS K-9 Extremes - 05/01/21 06:20 PM

Just finished assembling some K-9 Extremes I've been restoring and thought I would post a warning/note:
If anyone is considering changing the main springs on one of these with a screw driver I have some very specific and helpful instructions.

!. Retrieve said screwdriver and K-9 Extreme.

2. Take a very good look at the main springs and said screwdriver comparing potential screwdriver leverage to possible strength of main springs.

3 Place screwdriver and K-9 extreme on work bench.

4. Retreat to a cool dry peaceful place and enjoy a cold or hot favorite beverage of your choosing.

5. Return to work bench and retrieve K-9 Extreme and screwdriver.

6 Proceed to a quiet place preferably inside a sound proof structure far away from all life forms both human and animal.

7. Attempt to remove first main spring with screwdriver. This will result in massive failure, yet being a trapper you are convinced that you can do it.

8. After suffering defeat, hopefully not too extreme of an injury or injuries and teaching the Naval forces of the worlds Navy's a whole new vocabulary. Proceed back to the work shop and get your spring tool, or go to your preferred trapping supply website and order a spring tool.

9. I take no responsibility for any physical or mental injury that you may experience in the attempt to remove these springs which is going to result in your questioning yourself as a human being.

There just #3 springs. Same as what’s on other #3 sized traps.

Not all that accurate of a statement, but still those main springs aren't all that hard to work with. If you use the right tool.
