Burner phones...

Do any of y'all use them? Where's the cheapest place to buy one?

I believe the cheap tracfone flip phones would be the best.

Do they have texting capabilities?

Those Dollar store places have cheap burner phones, and cards for talk text and data

Yes they do have texting like most flip phones dollar general is a good place for them as they cost around 15 dollars and like 10 for a card.

Not sure what you want it for, but if it has a bar code it can most likely be tracked to point of purchase. Whoever bought it will most likely be on camera when purchasing.

Just wear a mask when you purchase it.

Sometimes you can get those tracfones with double or triple minutes. So if you buy a 60 minute card you get 120 or 180 minutes. My wife has had one more than 10 yrs with triple minutes. Its good for minutes, text and data. But it burns data faster than any phone I ever seen. She had to buy a better phone a year or so ago because they was going from 3g to 4g or something in that fashion. She got to keep all her minutes in the change. If she didn't have so many minutes saved up I'd switch her over to RedPocket but she don't use it much and the minutes keep growing. Tracfones are locked and can basically never be used with any other carrier.

Another thing is in buying a cheap phone is be sure its 4G because 3G will soon be gone.
