Tell him you are fixing something special. Mine lets me know in time to get it fixed, he doesn't wait until four past.

Oh, he starts pacing at 430, then heavy sighing, some whining and maybe a little bark. Then he pouts.

I always put my dogs on full feed and they only eat what they want. After the last one had to be put down I decided I didn't want to go thru that again so no more dogs.

Reminds me of the meme that went around right after we switched the clocks back last fall.............2 little dogs looking up at you, one saying 'What do you mean it's not our 5 o'clock suppertime, 'cause it sure feels like our 5 o'clock suppertime. The other little dog is saying "This is Bulls**t!".

My Beagles will start barking at chow time, except on a very cloudy day when they can't tell the levels of daylight. LOL

If that's all you've got it good. My dog runs a circuit around the house barking and crying until she's fed we normally feed her at 5, so this normally starts at 4:30.

Horses kept up by the house are just as bad. God forbid you try to sneak in a morning cigar before ya grain em
