If you are having the same issue we are when it comes to hiring individuals and no one showing here is the information i received this morning.
Call 605-773-3372 to report the name(s) of those who were offered a job and didn't bother to show up or contact you with other arrangements due to other circumstances.
Once they have been given a name they will check to see if this person is on unemployment. If they are and are "refusing to work" they can and most likely will be disqualified for unemployment.
It is sad that it has come to this!

I assume in SD you have to claim your looking for employment.

In WI you don't even have to claim your looking the legislature is working on putting that back into effect , EVERYONE seems to be hiring yet unemployment is still high in places , where I live the county is about 4% in march the same place it was Feb 2020.

can't find a house to buy or an apartment to rent hardly and everyone is hiring

lots of new people in small town WI they were moving here last summer

Saw on the news this morning that NM is finally going back to the seeking work requirement weekly reporting mandate that was always in place until this plandemic started

There are People here in Iowa have not paid their rent in months. Cannot throw them out because if federal COVID Laws. They are getting $438.00 a week Unemployment plus $300 Week from federal Government. Company I work for has 65 jobs open. Cannot even get people to come to a interview. It’s a joke what’s going on in this country. And the joke is on all the people that are working and trying to do the right thing. MD
