Sold a bunch of extra ammo I had stored in ammo boxes in the shed, 9mm, 17 HMR, .22LR went fast but the turkey loads, 7.62x39 and .223 stuff is moving slowly the 7.62 and FMJ stuff not moving at all for $1 a round. Just plan to refresh my stock when this is over I still kept plenty for myself just incase. Some I bought during the last craze so I have some money into them but not the current prices.
I was in Scheels in Sioux Falls last week they had a pallet of Winchester .223 FMJ 200 rounds limit 2 for $140 a box II believe and 20 rds of .223 HP for $12 a box both a limit of 2 boxes.
Did pick up 2 boxes of 50 45s for $19.50 a box at Runnings as I am low on those.
Going to my daughters Saturday. Grandson graduated 8th grade. He wants to shoot some trap. Told me to bring a shotgun. I shot a little the other day at a friends. Dont have much 8 shot loads. Found two boxes of estate 8 competition at a local store. Was 12 bucks and would only sell me one box. I have wads powder and primer. Some #4 shot. Cant find any 7 1/2 or 8. Or any shot for that matter.
At least there's some on shelf to buy, whole big city of Billings Mt. Has none on shelves any where. Just crazy to go to cable's and see them full Of Guns to sell but no ammo to put in them
My buddies shop is getting in ammo all the time now. Has boxes of steel case Wolf 5.56 for $12. Most of the brass is still buck a round. Quite a bit of shotgun ammo on the shelves, as well as 9mm, .22, and other various rifle calipers. Rural King had 150 round boxes of 5.56 for $95 a few weeks ago. It’ll keep getting better.
Found 23 boxes of steel and 5 case of trap loads so far might just hold onto the trap loads for now the steel is old stuff I’ll refresh that maybe mostly duck loads anyways.
