adding hook keepers to fishing poles - 05/27/21 03:19 PM
most of my favorite poles came with a hook keeper ,it is a great convenience feature on any pole .
I have several that don't have a hook keeper and so the line guide strut gets used , I have though about breaking out the epoxy , thread and some small wire and making a hook keeper. that sounds like a good winter project and it isn't winter it's fishing season.
I was thinking the zip ties with the hole for a #10 screw to hang cables and mount cabling should work and be fast easy and not permanent if I don't care for the location

anyone else use these ?
