Catifshin buddy called me and said its back-for the 3rd time, this time they called it aggressive. Hes not that old. Hes gonna do an experimental deal and if that doesnt work, they pretty much told him sorry, not good. Not sure how to react when a guy tells you that. I probably responded like a guy- “well $h&t”. This isnt a post lookin for “sorrys” ect, mostly just a vent. Ive had negative medical diagnosis in the past year or so, but nothin like that. Anyone have any positive experiences with “experimental” trials for anything? Not necessarily personal experiences, friends and family?

Sad news for sure for a younger fella especially.
We all gotta go sometime at least he will have a chance to get his affairs in order.
There is always prayer and there have been miracles.

Cancer sucks. Lost my mom to it at age 62. According to cancer.gov, more than 1 in 3 people get cancer. I get upset when I think about the fact that a virus with a 99.7% survival rate is considered a word-wide epidemic when at the same time 39.5% of people get cancer at some point in their lives. God bless your buddy.
I totally agree cancer sucks ! My family has had more than its share of run in's with it , my Grandmother survived Brest cancer and I made it through throat cancer and I'm going on 4 years cancer FREE now.
Sadly I lost both of my parents to cancer , my point is all this was going experimental at one time or another so why not roll the dice and give it a go ! Id rather of given it a serious effort while keeping a positive mental attitude and outlook then not.
A friend from college went through 24 different cancer procedures in less than 2 year's and she's still alive and well !
So I hope and pray the same for your friend has a full and complete recovery !
Allan

Co worker has been ate up with cancer. He started an experimental treatment that he had to go across the country for. When he started, he was told "6 months" that was 3 years ago. My family has had its share of cancer too. It sucks! Hope it all works out.
