We had an inch of snow this morning, all gone now. Had to cover a lot of stuff , in the garden. Will get back down to about 40 to night. Hope the bees had their fur coats on and kept , their brood covered. old243

Going down into the 30s tonight here at Camp in North Central Pennsylvania. It never got out of the 40s today. I built a fire this morning.

I showed 29 this morning. The cucumbers seem to off to a slow start as in they froze.

The High here yesterday was 45

Should have mentioned we were boat fishing in ice fishing gear.

Had snow south of here.

Oh yeah. Former Tman member PCR2 was killing the perch and crappie through the ice this winter. We get thick enough ice down home in southeastern Pennsylvania for good ice fishing too. Every year some really nice largemouth and musky come through the ice on Lake Ontelaunee which is near where I live.

Nobody is driving trucks out there or setting up fishing shack’s like you guys further north do, but the ice gets plenty thick enough to walk on.

40 yesterday in the Hills got up to 49 during the day good hiking up the mountain weather.

Yup...we drive around ..drinking beer...and checking our traps...

Friday we got a little taste of all the seasons , well maybe not summer even snowed a few minutes

Saturday was nice , today was as good as it gets cool in the shade , warm in the sun , not a cloud in the sky and the mosquitos aren't coming out till dark even then it is just a few.

Frost last 2 nights here in eastern Iowa. Had to cover tomatoes and potatoes and cucumbers. Latest I can remember by a week.
