Flea market ammo price - 06/01/21 01:05 PM

I'm glad I'm not hurting that bad for .22 caliber ammo. Went to a big flea market near me yesterday and seen quite a lot of .22 caliber ammo for sale. $12 for a box of 50, $25 for a box of 100. I think all vendors selling ammo must have all agreed on a selling price before they opened. Makes me think, maybe I should set up a booth next time! If they get that price, good for them.

While I'm talking ammo, has anyone started to see any of the Remington ammo hit shelves yet?

Academy Sports In Liberty Mo had Remington 308 on their shelf last week. Everything they had was FMJ's but at least it's a start.

If you have extra to sell now is the time to do so not all people will pay those crazy prices not even on .22s. It’s a good time to think about restocking with fresh ammo in the future just hold on to some incase it’s a long wait for the fresh stuff to roll in. Tombstone Tactical had .223 green tip for $15/20 that has not sold out over the weekend so they have a ton of it or folks are not paying those prices. Seems to be resistance to the FMJ or military type loads at the higher prices.

Flea market asking prices aren't "real" prices. Only a fool would pay 2x the local gun store price. And every shop I've been in lately has 22 on the shelf.

Yep was just a Walmart and picked up 2 boxes (all allowed) of 30/30, they also had 30/06 in both 150 grain and 165 as well as 308 150 grain, and a couple others I didn’t pay much attention to as it was calibers I didn’t have such as 243 ect

Talked to a truck driver this weekend that delivered a entire semi load of Remington ammo to a Walmart distribution center last week.

Saw on facebook some of their 243 had split necks before firing.

PSA had Frontier .223 FMJ for $15/20 with shipping and tax now, that should be $17-18 a box that’s steep. I picked up 2 boxes of the same brand in HPs for $12.50 a few weeks ago.

I thought it was illegal to sell something over the MSRP?

I'm not a fan of Remington ammo. To many problems with it. Last experience was a friend that bought several cases of 300 blackout. It was not as reliable as cheap bulk pack .22

Went to a flee market this past weekend also. Didn't see much for 22 shells but a lot of center fire ammo. They are all nuts! I will keep my ammo everyone else can pay the big money.
