It's a good thing you can trap b/c your typing is only so so.

Any snare opportunities? Those big heavy beaver make me love the light weight gear

Better? Snares are it.

There is a lot of otter sign, so no coni or foothold.

I have not tried food lure, that is if you are referring to commercial lures. Is it something you use for a special situation or just a standard?

Pocket gopher. Never seen a pocket gopher wear a mask so will say with out.

I have not tried food lure, that is if you are referring to commercial lures. Is it something you use for a special situation or just a standard?

Dobbins woodchipper lure. I use it regularly in summer work

Yes with a trench dug a little longer to the food source/ lure. A couple peeled sticks with the lure on it. I would do the same thing with castor during fall/winter and a 330

Well for that I would probably trap him. You can still harvest the castor. Baited set set with a foothold and drowner.

If a dam crossover set is legal, you should have a beaver the first night.

in our part of the country you catch a few 6 months their back with new broods love those dams dirty water above them from fields washing in the water ways below the dams crystal clear water amazes me the purification
