Wood stretchers - 06/15/21 07:17 PM
I have a chance to buy some solid wood stretchers, but not sure what the total measurements are. They were made by Joe G Miller of Medford, WI. Says on stretchers #3 42”. Would anyone know what size would the #3 be for? Thanks
I found a picture of the #2 size that are 40"that are on a auction and they look like a mink board but not sure. Cannot find any other information on his stretchers. If you can get the total dimensions of the boards that would help.

Did you try to contact Joe or anyone who knows him?

I’m going to make a guess and say old Ranch Mink stretchers.

If the price is right, buy them and modificate them how ever you like. All my mink boards were once ranch mink boards.

if it's like the TV show
The Price is Right
1960 mink sizes so a 3 is probably large males
nothing a good round-over router wont fix to re-shape
I would say mink. Medford was the mink capital of the world.
