well it's only a couple weeks away , July 9-10 ,who's all coming up ,I had more calls than ever before , should be a great turn out ,

there is a fish fry [blue gills] on Friday afternoon, still have a few ticket left [only a few ] limited to 250 ticket , anyone wanting tickets can call me 906-399-1960,

I want to also say that the Fish Fry is top notch! If you are worried about portions, don’t be! I can eat a lot of food in one sitting and I walked away stuffed. Excellent time at the last fish fry. I had a lot of fun sitting with others that I’ve never met. It’s good to sit down and meet fellow trappers. Roy is an amazing organizer. He doesn’t hold back on anything during these conventions. His idea of a fish fry Friday is just another great example of him giving it all he got! Thanks to Roy. Head on over to Escanaba but be sure to let Roy know ASAP that you want a bluegill ticket. So, who is going to be traveling the furthest for the Escanaba convention? I’m just a short ride away. Approximately 90 miles.

well tables are all set up 225 of them , vendor's move in today , its 5 am and I'M tired already , think I'm getting to old for this stuff !!!, I thank god for my wife with out her I could not do this , and the volunteer's that we get , fish fry is sold out 250 ticket !!! :), thanks to all who gave fish , so I'm off to make coffee and double check building , have a great day and if your coming to escanaba , say hi

just been to busy , i will get some today band post, more camper than ever , and motels are full , so should be great crowds

Just got off the phone with a vendor who is up there. He said they were super busy today. Heckuva turnout he said.

It was a great day! UP trappers and the NTA gained many new members today!

The wife and I had a great time, lots of trappers attending. Roy and his crew did a great job! Excellent demos and vendors. I wish I had planned to attend both days, next year I will for sure. I will be interested to see what the total attendance was.

Once again ,Roy and Co.out did themselves.We took another couple with us to the fish fry and had a great time.Weather was perfect,the food was great,had a lot of fun with the raffle and seeing people we hadn't seen in a couple of years(thanks to covid).We heard the motels in the area were full,and lots of campers on site.The U.P. Trappers convention isn't just another get together with vendors.And it seems it's getting bigger every year.When you go to one you remember why it's a great time to be a trapper.

Christine and I had at fantastic time, great weather., well organized, superb demo presenters, meeting up with friends and the gill dinner was above expectations. A big thanks to Roy and all the crew that makes this event happen.

This was Christine's first even trappers convention and she is pumped for nationals in 2 weeks.

Sad I missed it. Good job Michigan trappers!

Suzi and I had a great time, set in on some demos, brought some supplies, great weather. Wanted to connect with Roy, understood he was
running around all over the convention. So I'll say it here: "Excellent job Roy and volunteers." Already planning for next year, for the entire convention.

I had a great time also. Picked up a few books, some lures and of course a few traps followed me home. Watched a couple great demos. Got to meet some new people also. All in all a great event, definitely worth the 3 hour drive. Looking forward to WI later this year and the UP event next year.

Great time at the convention. Roy and his team did a wonderful job. Excellent demos and vendors. I really got a kick out of watching the little kids get excited catching thier fish. Thanks to everyone involved , see you next year.
