Health Savings Account - HSA - 07/05/21 07:04 PM

How many have one? I started one a year ago for my family as we are relatively healthy and try to avoid the doctor whenever possible. I finally just moved some excess funds into a Devenir account and have selected mostly Vanguard mutual funds with long term averages over 12% growth and lost costs. It is pre-tax up front and no taxes when used for medical expenses. It is truly the only investment I currently know of that the govt is not taking anything from it. I expect the govt to do away soon with it.

I have an HSA too. Good program and it has some tax advantages. Given time, the government will mess this up and make it worthless too.

I had one. I used up the funds. My wife still has some funds in her account. It was a good financial tool.
