Who's Getting Anxious

For this trapping season. Its usually this time of year I begin to think about hunting and trapping. Either this weekend or next I plan on start doing some scouting for possible set locations and mark them. Got a rondy next weekend so I can spend some of this money laying around.

Oh yeah. Been getting everything ready. Got all my traps dipped last weekend.

What really gets me going through is the smells at a rendezvous

Yep. Only 6 more months before fur is prime.

Trapping season, turkey season, cut boiler wood then getting ready the rest of the year for the next year and repeat.

Trap all year round.
There is a demand for trapping outside of the fur season in a lot of places.
But nothing beats a frosty morning in October to get the blood pumping.

I'm thinking of using drags this year. Thoughts?

Starting to plan a few hunts and plan the trapline in my head. First cool autumn morning that has a little Frosty feel to it is what really gets me anxious.

I am getting the itch. My 13 year old son mentioned the other day that he's feeling it too!
