Connecticut sucks. I've been there many times for work. The people are beyond rude and nasty, prices are insane, no one can drive worth a crap, everyone acts like they resent you being there and there are licenses and taxes for any type of work you preform. You can't even install a windshield in a car without being licensed! In fact, they only nice people I have even run into in that state were transplants from other states. It's the typical Libtard utopia crap hole. The only reason the place isn't just like Detroit is because of all the old money there. In the parts of the state where their isn't "old money", it's a war zone like all the other libtard run third world states.

We're used to it back when I turned 21 you had to get a purchase permit to buy a handgun you went to the police dept got finger-printed this was sent to the State Police for a background check and was free Got a new Sheriff Now it cost $15.00 and kept getting denied Some guys i talked to applied over a dozen times@15 bucks a crack This went away with a new Sheriff Now in that day you could get a Hunting and Target carry permit used when you weren't on your own property and still couldn't be concealed This was reviewed by a gun board that met occasionally made up by the Sheriff a C.O a MS Police trooper and your township Supervisor if you ranted and raved about your taxes you weren't getting it You also had to have 2 affidavits signed by residents of your township attesting to your upstanding character

If you draw a line due east and west from the Ohio River at the Southwest corner of Indiana, there are about the same number of red states north and south of that line. Meaning there are a similar number of conservatives north and south of that line. It doesn't matter where we live, we just all need to push in the same direction.

I stopped visiting family in the northeast because of the extreme change in people and driving habits. That, and the fact that it’s tough to get away from it all when you’re there.

I sure hope we can, but the large urban/suburban areas of our vast state hold the most voters.......and are where the highest number of Progressives live. Michigan's rural areas (85-90% of the landmass) are just as Right leaning as any other Red area. Most all the states, Red or Blue, are the same. It will be the urban Progressives that will out vote the rest of us. States like Montana, Texas, and Alaska will eventually go Blue for that very reason.........too many folks with no connection to the land. Most of our rural areas won't change the way they look at things unless they are finally flooded with transplanted urbanites. Sadly, it's coming sooner or later.
