deputy sheriff neighbor killed

He was by his house on his harley with no helmet. Hit a deer and died at hospital. Mike was a good one a friend and neighbor who treated others with respect. Not the typical little guy attitude as a cop. Very few are really good guys,,most are plastic but he was a well liked guy. 49 yrs old. Rip Mike!

That's a bad deal, Steve. I'm surprised more riders don't get KO'd that way. One of the big reasons I quit riding years ago. Between critters and crappy drivers, you just about have to have a death wish to ride anymore! Sorry for your friend, bud!

As hilltop said Lee,always bad to lose a GOOD ONE,not a typical one.
2 guys in our village hit one same night minutes apart. Other one lived.
Thats why i sold mine 2 yrs ago at 60,too dangerous for a single dad with no other relatives to raise my son if i bite it.

Hot topic everywhere. I didnt use one here but in philippines it was law. Dont know the specifics of what killed him so I cant say.

We just lost a local here too.
Justin Hunt. Was my neighbor for 20 years.
Local cop, great guy, Dad, husband,
Left behind kids and a wife who don't deserve to go the rest of their lives without him.

Yup here also,mike was dad of 5,one still in elementary school...cop 23 yrs not 21,volunteer fireman 7 yrs. Just a great great guy.

The Father's house has many rooms and we pray your friend is now in one.

I took food to the family today. Its awkward and she had tears but as a neighbor in a small community I felt I should. I pray others do it. All their kids were raised in our 110 people village.....its home. Teaching my son these old fashioned values also.
