You didn't think it was ridiculous when you bought and resold 22lr to a pawn shop that for sure sold at a ridiculous price.

It is what it is.

How would you have any ideal what they sold them for ? Or if they even sold them ! They might still have them because more is showing up everywhere at better prices Plus compare retail to retail . This place just going to gouge customers them selves.

It's no different than when I sold entry level AR 15s for top tier prices. To be honest I have been tempted to sell several thousand cci sv .22 rounds I have .04 in for the crazy high prices. Then restock again when they come back down in a few years. Way more than I need and with the shortage we have switched to air guns for close range practice, small game hunting and trap gun. Works perfectly and .22 cal pellets are still on the shelf and much cheaper.

limits on ammo are unpopular

set the price to a point people limit themselves

At this point, is there a price some people wouldn't pay?

Many of us seem to have our economics backwards. We continue to trap and provide a supply when there is lack of movement resulting in low prices. We continue to shoot ammo and then buy more despite prices going higher. We're some terrible businessmen. Lets all stop buying ammo for only 6 months and see what happens to the price. Lets only send in half the fur and only the best and see what happens to prices.

they have definitely found the price I wouldn't pay in the last couple years

if I am real hard up to shoot , it's smoke pole time saving the cartridges for later.

There's a thing in economics called Supply/demand curves. It's a graph of price and supply. Suppliers will only supply X amount of product at Y price. Suppliers are willing to increase the amount offer as price rises. Opposite for falling prices. Consumers but more as price decreases. When you plot both lines on the graph, they'll intersect. That's the equilibrium point with both sides are happy.

With necessities like gas, food, ammo, etc, the lines are more parabolic with big gaps on the low price side. With luxuries, they're more straight lines with similar gaps on both sides of the EP

I don't have a problem with it, pointing out the hypocrisy.

Of course, the pawn shop sold at a profit.

30 bucks for 30 30 shells is nuts but in reality how many does a guy shoot? If a person buys some because they need a box or two bit deal. When they come down in price(they will) if said person doesn't lay in a small horde for times like this, well then what can ya say.
