Yesterday horrid an today another , not sure if he pass out on heroin or what as that symptom but did absolutely nothing an want me to wake him up , I don't do that , last Friday I train black girl seddonna from Chicago , she brag if make $28 hr there so why here ? So my speed went to 25 percent from myself with her , so she work like 2 hrs walk out quit an abandon water bottle an stuff I see lay there , had 6 ppl quit an walk out door while work them in last 3 months , some pretty unpleasant like some ones I work with, I guess they like hire trash , I had it

Find a better job as you've been told for several years now, and forget retiring early because your gonna need every extra dollar once you can't work and draw both.

I think pretty much everyone, at times, have to work with people they don't like. That's part of life. If you start a new job and have to work with people, try being friendly to them, even if you don't like them because they're lazy, or black, or whatever. Don't complain to them about the job, even if they complain to you about it first. Don't chit chat, either... just go in and do your job, talking when you need to, but not when you don't.

I definitely wouldn't recommend telling a prospective employer that you don't want to work with other people. Most employers are big on their employees being "team players" even if the employees mostly work alone.

Would you like working for a farmer? I know that farmers in Iowa might need some help during harvest. Farming is often by yourself. As long as you are productive and don't year stuff up, you should be able to find the job of your dreams. You may have to start out less than $15 / hr. Until the farmer sees whether you are worth your salt.

Not only place , they desperate help , no fire slacker an make them work another does all work ,maybe get couple more parts done, the problem I have are not much blacks , whites , but black ppl not all but most at max last few weeks , I say on average of 3 times to work with lot miss in between an done , lit new hires walk out door an say nothing , had happen me with 6-7 can't rember

Here is my advice.... Your planning to retire in 10 months. You have already spent 3 years to long in the place your at now. I'd say close your eyes, ears, and mind, tough out the next 10 months and retire. From the sounds of it the company will give you a gold watch at your retirement for staying with them for so many years.

I remember you posted Bodine was within a few hundred yards of the machine shop you work at now. There's plenty of them on that list that are common labor jobs that pay a lot more than what you make and are close to the same distance to drive.

You just need for trapping season to get here so you can go trap a bunch of coons, rats and mink. That's working for yourself and if you stay off the 4 lane roads you should be just fine. You've got all the supplies, traps and such. Groenwald obviously likes your golden triangle coons, you made $7+ average last year no reason to think you would do any less this season. You know where the animals are in your area, no need to waste gas scouting locations. Trap harder than ever and make some money doing something you like to do... by yourself!

4 lane roads are where get alot stuff, alot trap spots along row, back roads some, but far less places stop , no shoulder on co. Hiway , many small farms in places with lots driveways, houses an driveways right next to bridge where u don't just set traps practically someone backyard, u can trap along 4 lane rows, if u had 500 coon at $7 or even more possible as I never get 500, got 300 coon I could see but the thing to it is , all miles an gas an wear an tear , u have to have lot permission in top places for coon with them be close together an catch 300 in not that long time, u make a lil maybe , look at maps, sone parts southern Iowa have lots streams an bridges in heavy populated. Coonman….Trap to Jan 1 or so. Then try to get a job working for a Iowa fur company or even GWF company in ILL from January to March 31. You will need to bring your camper with you but you will be around the fur industry that you like. Skinning and fleshing. The GW brothers are good folks. I worked for them a few months back in the 1980’s when jobs were tough to find. Only reason I left was I needed better Insurance. But you could make enough money in 3 months than working all year. They would I bet work a deal out with you were they would cut you a check every week or 2 and not mess up your SS. That’s what I would do. It’s a very very interesting place to work.

Coonman. …. GWF they are good people. It was one of the best jobs I ever had. It was like I was not even going to work. I worked in the tan fur room. Boxed up and shipped fur all over the USA. But they have lots of jobs. You don’t know until you talk to them in person. Like I said work from Jan1 when most of the coon trapping is over to April 1.
It was really a interesting job. Have you ever seen a 44 pound raccoon hanging from a scale ? I did at GWF.
Did you ever see a 81 pound beaver hanging from a scale ? I have at GWF. I think you would enjoy working there. Take a camper work and live there for 4 months. Make enough money to get you through the rest of the year and not mess up your SS. It’s one of the few places I think you would enjoy working at.
I don’t know what else to tell you. I have been in Mfg Management for 42 years. Hated every day of it chasing people out of crapper and making them work. GWF was one of the funniest jobs I have ever had in my life. Marty
