Old freezer meat - 09/09/21 10:58 PM

I got some pork sausage and other meats that are tasting a little burnt. Would they do any good for fox and coyotes baits in dirt hole

Too much work/time invested in making sets to risk it IMO.

I throw old meat on the grill and let the dog feast on it.

Get a vacuum sealer, it will be a thing of the past.

Probably make good yote bate in the middle of winter if you can taint it a bit. Or, like others have said, fry it up and feed it to the pets.

you will be glad you did , you don't need that much equipment and you can start with a few basics

meat lugs
a few knifes
a grinder
some cutting boards
a vacuum sealer
freezer space and you can do a lot

we did a cow this winter , I put a long blade in my sawzall to break down the 1/4s , I was able to use the skid loader at the farm and some chain to hang it and skin it
