Elvis is alive.

Elvis was in Uncle Johns motor pool unit in Germany for a short time.

uncle John a SGT , fluent German speaker and lover of Polka as well as a classically trained horn player and an accomplished Polka Musician was not impressed with the Private and his skills and teeny bopper musician . but no one gets rich playing polka and a hundred thousand screaming school girls apparently pays better.

About 25 years ago I was fishing out of a lodge in Panama and spent a half day with a trauma doctor from Oregon.

When he was an intern in Memphis he was working the night Elvis was brought in. He just told me briefly.... "Elvis IS dead". I didn't ask him any more questions.

Two days later on a rough day a local boat flipped over trying to get out of the river mouth with about 20 people. Most of them died, but we all raced to the mouth once we heard on the radio. His boat was the first there and he saved two people with CPR. Good guy.

But Elvis is dead.

Elvis works for a Hyundai/Ford dealer in Lakeland Florida as the finance guy. He is alive and well.
I reckon there are a few around the world named Elvis.
