Copperhead? Blends in good.
I shot it's twin a few days back when I was squirrel hunting.
Them snakes are too weak to live up here in big boy country!

They do have a nice paint job on them, but I can see nothing but "ugly" when I walk up on one.

You're playing with fire Savell. But they are a pretty snake. I hates copperheads!
Ain't never heard of eating a copperhead before!
Shot a possum out of a trap and got my rig to reset, kneeled down and started working for a second before the copperhead moved forward about an inch. he was about 2 foot away all stretched out. But it was in typical fall leaves and he was invisible. Once i landed from spontaneous levitation I made sure i wouldnt kneel down next to that specific one again. Lots of snakes on the move right now around here. I ran into 2 copperheads, 1 big cotton mouth and a big diamondback all over where im trapping in the past week or two.

... you talking a big Eastern Diamond Back possum man ? They’re fairly uncommon from what I understand... we only have canebrakes here
