Time for a survey

Curious as to who reads their state association news in the trappers post or affiliate news in the fur taker?

I read ours and most other state's as well.

I used to read them religiously but got rather soured on trapping politics so now I only read them occasionally.

I write a report for New Mexico, I guess everybody likes it?! I feel they are important, so the world knows we are alive, I read a lot of state reports, some are pretty interesting.

Read my states plus some other states as well to keep abreast on the trapping news.

I also read mine and other states. Helps keep me up to date on conventions and rendezvous I might attend.

I proof read mine before I send it in 😁. I also read about all the others to see how they’re operating.

Ours is always a short read. Pa usually is a good read

I do. It’s mostly bad news, like New Mexico, but if I want to trap, I can’t stick my head under my pillow and pretend things aren’t happening. I like to stay engaged. Our association is incredibly well run by the nicest people you will ever meet. They put out an excellent monthly report.

I read all of ours and a lot of the other states as well especially where I have made some great friends over the years. I guess i will have to start reading the Wyoming one now Mr. Kelly.

I read our WTA info every issue and we have 4 of our own annually plus the Trapper's Post. I also read several others and the two nationals I belong to. It has been slower the last few years but there is always issues and concerns we need to stay abreast upon.

EJ, here’s my take on this...I read the entire magazine(s) when I have time. I look forward to the different magazines in the off season. But during the fur season I skip a lot of my normal reading. I’m sure most are in the same position. Hope that helps.

Always read as many of the western states as I can, if they are posted.

If not the state association have news letters or magazine.

Ms.V is on Facebook and keeps up that way.

I read them all, problem is, there aren't enough. Wish more states would contribute.
