Young Girls first bear.

This great young girl wanted to try for a bear. I've been watching an area that the bears have been traveling from food to bed and most mornings I see at least 2. One morning 7. No small ones and a couple real hogs.
So, yesterday morning in the dark,I set her and grandpa up on the travel route.
I went a mile away to pass shoot geese.the bear she shot actually came by me at about 60 yards and I watched it walk the full mile right into her lap.
She made a perfect shot, the bear ran right to the trail she was sitting on and died in the ditch.
Was to big to budge so her grandpa went for the loader tractor.
Was getting warm by the time we got it loaded and needed to get to skinning so we didn't get it weighed but I'm guessing right near 500#.
They seen 8 bear total and 2 bigger then the one she got. My turn next

Over the past few years, I've posted pics/stories of this "unseen" bear trail.
Been hunting bear for 35 years HARD and never seen anything like it.
Just a wide open but remote place that the bigger bear are attracted to.
They travel this area unmolested until I decide its time
Had some great memories the past few years for sure.
Am blessed having sole permission on this 3 mile stretch of river. Every year I learn a bit more. Few places we all hunt can afford this luxury. I'm a lucky man

I've shot alot of bear but never a true slob.
Not sure I really care though? Piles of fun watching or at least being involved with others doing it.
I have a feeling this season aint done yet
