Saw it in the store a little while back. Go woke go broke. Bought some original to keep so the younger folks can see what it was like before communism.

Aunt Jemima didn't seem offensive or racist to me at all. Uncle Ben's didn't seem offensive or racist either.

There you go, HT....

My editor sends me amazing maple syrup every year...made in Maine.

Once you've had what you have always needed, nothing else even begins to compare.

Nothin' like the real thing.

could they fix the racism problem by putting white folks on those bottles? makes sense to me.

Re: Brand Loyalty, Broken - 10/03/21 06:29 PM

How can it be racist to associate a black person with a popular product? I guess Nike is going to have to drop Michael Jordan due to those mean racist sneaker ads.

On another note, let the mfg know that they will no longer have your business and why.

Never much cared for those blends. Honey, cane, maple, molasses or even sorghum

I find "the real thing" way too sweet for me. I'd sooner have store bought personally.

You're just different, Racer Man ... wink

Yes it is very sweet tasting.

Just lessen the amount .

Hey I've enjoyed Aunt Jemima syrup a lot growing up ! I didn't even have real syrup until much later.

Keep those original bottles.

Hopefully they will stop this nonsense and return back to the way the logos always have been.

Love it !! On such a nice country feeling tablecloth ! Reminds me of the cafe's out here who feed logger type breakfasts on long wood tables that the locals love to go and enjoy their mornings.

The bourbon barrel aged maple syrup is where it's at. Usually get it from the vendors at trapper conventions, either the Berkshire Gold guy or the the guy from Ohio that the name escapes me ATM.

when I was a kid, I hated "maple syrup"...couldn't stand the stuff.

years later, my buddy moved to Vermont and we went up for the wedding. He said, make sure you take a jug back home. I politely declined (after all I hated the stuff). He insisted I try it, so I reluctantly did. HOLY COW! they shouldn't even be allowed to call that corn syrup stuff from my childhood "maple syrup".

ONLY the real stuff for me, from then on!

And let them know that their racist attitude about it being wrong to have black people on products is why you not going to buy their products anymore
