Had one real good try at a musky tonight, but couldn't get him to hit at boatside. Oh well, pike are fun to catch too.

Hit a deep diver my buddy makes. Lancaster Lures. Really nice finish on his lures.

Broken hooks are always good sign of a tough fish on other end.

Good eating fish there.. Really like to fish for pike, go to Quebec quite often until covid fiasco started.......jk

Lol.

Sometimes I just cut the hooks if it makes it faster and easier.


A replacement hook is like 40 cents, so why not. Easier on the fish. The cut part is removed if course.

Nor sure. Somewhere around 40". Didn't measure. Thought for sure it was a musky based on where it hit.


And she's still a swimmin!
