It’s a beautiful area. Just about every fall I do a backpacking wilderness hunt there. Killed my biggest bear there. However, even the remote area I hunt in is beginning to attract more people. When I started the ranger asked me how the heck I ever got out there. Now he tells me all the other guys out there. The solitude is unreal. Don’t know how much longer it’ll remain

Being from the south I forget that there is more to New York than that big city full of nuts
