They put them where they replace a 4 way stop and can be at the beginning of a freeway ramp.

Roundabouts and traffic circles are two different things. They have the same design and purpose but roundabouts are designed to be used without any traffic stopping.

A product of filthy European socialism. Lol

There's an intersection nearby that has a serious accident fairly often... It's a casino on Hwy 59 at the bottom of a hill.... People just run the stop sign. So the latest proposal is to remove the stop signs and make it a roundabout.

Makes sense if you don't stop and think about it.

roundabouts suck --- especially with a vehicle bigger than a postage stamp or with a trailer. They are adding lots of them around here.

Not sure if this will help the conversation or not....

The counties around here are putting them in at most of the four way stops.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates them.

I see more and more of them in Wi. DOT says they are proven safer.

They're building a lot of roundabouts here, and I like them. They keep the traffic moving

They are everywhere here. I like them and very rarely see an accident at one. Nobody gets T-boned. Lots of big trucks driving through them as well.

Different scenarios of round abouts in North Pole Alaska. They are installing them all over Fairbanks also. People had to learn how to use them when they were first installed here.

They make about as much sense as the metric system, but two rights don't make a third right.
This is Merica!
Next thing you know, they'll open the borders wide open, declare parents of school children as domestic terrorists, ban the import of ammunition from a foreign country for poisoning some guy 3 years ago (he didn't die), while allowing that same country to build a pipeline to Europe, while pulling the plug on a pipeline in this country.
I could keep going but I think that I made my point.
Roundabouts are the #1 threat to normalcy in this country.
