too skinny? Might not be able to tell from the picture but I believe this is a fawn. But look how skinny she is. Do you think something's wrong with her? The second picture is from the same camera of a bigger, healthier looking deer.

She may have been pushed back a lot by another fawn when nursing. Mom may not be a good mother....etc.
Her physical condition will catch up quick if she can get on acorns or an ag field. This is somewhat common for deer in the Southern US.

Looks fine to me. Was it pouring rain for a couple days? Might have missed a few feedings, but doesn’t look starving.

It hasn't been raining, no.
No shortage of acorns this year, they're everywhere.
I think I'm just slightly paranoid about CWD.

If you zoom in on the rump, it appears to be 4 vertical dark spots (?) Wounds maybe? and loss of hair on lower leg?

It barely what could be called skinny, it certainly doesn’t have CWD. It could use a little more cover, but its not sick. Probably just the weaker fawn, or its mother doesn’t milk much.

I have other pics of it and those 4 marks you're seeing is actually the head of a weed in between the deer and camera.

Ears are up, eyes are bright, and it’s nose isn’t crusty. She just needs some time in a corn field. IMHO

Most deer look like a bag of bones during the summer. Especially if they have fawns to feed.
The young ones look skinny too.
Maybe plant a few food plots, supply them with mineral, help them out a little.
