Game one coming up….should be a good series…I hope …Go SOX !!

I doubt if this will be like the NL playoff games where runs were in short supply. Lot of fire power with some pretty good team batting averages, so will be hard to pitch around the hotter hitters. I feel that the Astros have the advantage mostly due to being able to start at home. The Sox have their bullpen heating up at the right time if their starters can give them 12-15 outs.

What's with the oven mitts on the astros? I shake my head everytime I see those oven mitts. Are their hands too sensitive to handle dirt?

I think they all use them…..maybe to prevent hand injuries when sliding into bases

Missed watching the last games as was traveling. Listened to the Braves, which were nail biters, wow the Sox bats are really working well and to me they have the stronger pitching right now. Astros will need to regroup.

No bats …the last 2 games. The good thing is ….you have to win 4 games to move on.

Astros and Braves each have one game to win to move on. The Braves are peaking at a very good time and the Sox are demonstrating some of that streakiness they had on and off all season. Dodgers really look flat right now.
The Sox have the poorest defense of all the teams in the playoffs this year so if they are not scoring runs they have an up hill battle.
