I took a/c/ out of windows today. Any warm spell coming I can open the windows.

You should be fine Steve. I took my airconditioners out not quite 2 weeks ago. Today is the hottest day at 67F in the ten day forecast. Still no chance of the first frost yet here. We are well past the average first frost date. I am going to the produce auction tomorrow. They dropped back to one day a week and with no frost yet, they should be loaded up, with dirt cheap produce.

These are my favorite temperatures of the year.

we had 3 killing frost here.but you are south across the meridian..even my pumpkins blooms are done. 62 here

Steve, what town are you near?

I am going to the Amish produce auction in Mt. Victory and then up to Mt. Blanchard to pick up some homing pigeons from a friend of mine. It's possible it already frosted in Mt. Victory, which is about 30 miles straight North of me.

It was 19 degrees when I got up. It showed 18 for the low.

Mt victory is 25-30 m s. of me. Im next to killdeer plains wildlife area. The meridian for the 5 degree variance is around waldo and west. Many of my neighbors go to the mt victory auction......I have many amish and menonnite neighbors.

Keith, I'm only ten or so miles from mt. blanchard. We've not had any frost up this way yet. I refuse to go squirreling until we get a good frost and I'm itching to go.

35 but im in a riverbottom so i get it before many. Showed one on my roof in a prev post. Just because you didnt means little. Many variables involved. [Linked Image]

Oct 22 no frost and leaves are still green like June !! Make opening day of gun season hard to see in the thickets.. !!
