I am pretty good but buy any .22 that is reasonably priced if I see it...good for trade goods. If civil war starts I will pick some up off the ground.. smile

Sig Sauer 240 gr. JHP 44 mag. - could use a couple or three boxes. Midway says they are discontinued, everywhere else is just "out of stock".

After walking past empty shelves for months on end......and that empty feeling when you do........decided to resume reloading......and that was back in Feb. Got busy, got lucky finding components.....but now set for life. Walked past a still mostly empty ammo shelf today.....and smiled.

If you reload I probably have about 40 empties and I think I have some 30-30 bullets.

Re: Your ammo needs - 10/27/21 03:32 AM

243 saw winchester sp today. First i have seen in months but over $2 a shot so I passed.

About a month ago i bought 12 boxes of hornady american white tail at rual king for $21 a box the next day i was in the same shop that had the 243 today and they had $35 a box on the same 7mm08.

I need to send the scopebon the 243 into leopold for repair but dont want to shoot my last 18 rounds to sight anotjer scope in. Looks like the boys will just have to hunt with other guns unless i see some 6mm bullets on the shelf some where and work up some loads.

Crazy to me how many people on here are out of bullets. Don't most people keep a several year supply of the ones they normally shoot?

Re: Your ammo needs - 10/27/21 07:31 AM

Your right Yes sir. A little here then a lot there then a little again here and there........ Our gun rights have been eroded tremendously in just my lifetime. A lot of erosion being perpetrated by gun groups . Just like magicians they are experts at misdirection. Keep saying we are looking out for your best interest. Keep supporting us. Mean while they work to erode your freedom. Politicians helping them steal your liberty by pretending to be afraid of or angry at them. Misdirection, I think the day is coming where all legal gun ownership will be under the National Firearms Act. Permission to own will require a fee, registration, and a broker for sales between individuals. Very very very few Tman members support SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

If someone is so dangerous they cannot be trusted with the right to arm themselves, WHY ARE THEY NOT INCARCERATED??????????????????????

Regulating what honest people do does not stop outlaws doing what they do.

"Several year" might have various meanings to different people...
