Christmas Carolers

What an awesome surprise, tonight my wife and I were entertained by a church group singing Christmas Carols on our front porch. First time in my 76 years. They were really good singers too.

That's awesome! Last time I saw any was in 1989 in town. I was just a kid at the time.

My wife and daughter went caroling last night in a small town near us with a random group of 10 others. They had a blast but at a lot of houses they had to sing to the dog because people wouldn't come to the door. Those that looked out the window and walked away were serenaded with the Grinch song.

Our church still does that but they won't let me sing with them. Not sure why.

My wife and I went to the door and watched and listened, we then passed a big tray of cookies to them. Kind of puts you in the Christmas spirit.

I will be at your house tomorrow evening and I will sing a few songs for you. Can you make me some oatmeal raisin cookies and some chocolate chip cookies. A couple dozen of each will do!!!!

use to get it as a kid but we live so remote none come here. My yrs in philippines we always had them on xmas.

That would be a good time. Glad you got to experience something like that!
