The SEC and Big 10 are lined up for 4 bowl games, might be interesting to see how that plays out.

Big 10 fans have class, they don't make excuses unlike SEC fans. Besides, the Buckeyes will win that game without doubt.

Ohio state may be without multiple players because of draft, not sure what players Utah may be without. Bowl games are real difficult to bet on because you never know who’s playing or not?

OSU will probably be without its two best receivers, for one thing.

Penn is not playing Texas A & M. Penn is the University of Pennsylvania, they are in the Ivy League. Penn State plays Arkansas.

It will be interesting in the future how many highly paid or funded players will actually participate in bowl games. Their futures will already be set. Having major bowl games many times weeks to even months after the seasons are past to me makes little sense but it is when they can make money. I guess if colleges can make fortunes playing games, then individuals can as well. Could change the whole athletic scholarship programs nationwide down the road. Now boosters can just outright pay players instead of funneling it through the colleges or departments.
I have noticed more the last years when line ups are given that several more pro football players have not attended universities then in the past,

Tennessee plays Purdue and I'll have to admit that I don't know much about the Boilermakers. I'm just happy Tennessee made a bowl game and that we have a actual offense to watch. PS we also beat Kentucky this year, had to do it Jbyrd

I think the boilermakers dashed a few teams dreams early on this season.

After growing up in Tennessee and my whole family being Vol fans and going to multiple games each year I didn't think there was another area that supported there team as much. That was until I bought my little place in Ohio, man they love their buckeyes. I'm thinking of buying a couple Ohio State shirts for when I go knock on doors trying to get permission to hunt. Definitely couldn't hurt

That really sucks J Staton, Burks had a heck of a game against Alabama. I haven't heard of any Penn State players opting out yet, I wouldn't be surprised if their best receiver would opt out, I think he is projected to be a first round pick.

Ohio State has had its difficulties when playing SEC teams in bowl games. Not even the most die-hard Ohio State fan could deny it: The Buckeyes, historically, have had a dismal record against the SEC. Ohio State's struggles against the SEC date to 1978, when they were pummeled by Alabama, 35–6, in the Sugar Bowl. Still, Ohio State may be bouncing back: The school beat Arkansas, 31–26, in the 2011 Sugar Bowl, but the Buckeyes had to vacate the victory later that year under a cloud of NCAA sanctions. Ohio State even managed a degree of revenge, beating Alabama 42–35 in the 2015 Sugar Bowl on the way to winning the national championship that year.

Penn State has played 50 bowl games all time, they won 30, lost 18 and 2 were ties.

Although Alabama has appeared in and won more bowl games than Penn State their winning percentages are almost identical, Alabama has won 60.2% of their bowl games while Penn State has won 60% of theirs.

I'd like to think this would shut you up but..... Ohio State All-Time versus SEC teams 23-14-3. I know it doesn't fit your narrative and you'll only want to use participation bowls (all the sudden they're important)
