Havent seen his posts for a while. Looking forward to his muskrat chronicles.

I worry that we are losing a fair number of older members to Covid and other ailments without ever hearing about it.

I just realized I hadn't seen a recent post from a one time frequent member I've met. He was last on 1/18/2021 and I think I may have found his obituary online.

I trapped the 1st 15 days of November and caught 98 muskrat.

Ran out of all the rat spots I could reasonably access with my
physical limitations and then pulled the pin.

The weather has been good with temperatures, but unsuitable
with wind, rain, and high water for the few spots I'm still contemplating trapping.

I'm over run with beaver and beaver complaints but I refuse to target
fall beaver since NYS DEC and NYSTA screwed up our rat season.

I've got a bunch of raw spring beaver pelts burning up kilowatts in my freezer
waiting for groney to rock again so there's no sense in killing any more.

There has not been many thread topics I am interested in participating in
so I have just been lurking behind the scenes.

I am on here most every day reading posts here and there but t-man
has been a real yawner lately.

I will say this:

I was scared we lost Walleyed too.

Just not the same. What happened to posting in 3rd person. Walleyed did this, Walleyed did that. Always looked forward to the rat thread every year also.

nytrappersguild.proboards.com exclusively as there is no censorship there.

If I do anything earth shattering trapping wise, I shall see that walleyed posts about it
here so my fellow trappers can have the opportunity to live vicariously thru my rat line.
