Three retired U.S. Army generals have warned of insurrection or possibly even civil war if the results of the 2024 presidential election are not accepted by sections of the military.

Retired Major Generals Paul D. Eaton and Antonio M. Taguba joined retired Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson urged today's leaders to act to prevent such scenes, calling on today's leaders to "war-game" an attempted coup.

In an op-ed for The Washington Post published on Friday, the former military leaders said they were "increasingly concerned" about the "potential for lethal chaos inside our military, which would put all Americans at severe risk" in the aftermath of the election.

Just let that first paragraph sink in for a moment.

Problem: Elections are not secure and members of the military do not trust the results.

Solution: War game a coup to make sure that our not-secure, not-trusted elections are followed anyway.

Seems suspicious that making elections secure and trustworthy wasn't the solution.

Yeah, riddle me this. We all know that the computer ballots are crap, they can be hacked easy. So, why don't each voter get a receipt of how they voted to take with them?

I'll go farther. It's complicated but here's my idea: After you vote, you get a receipt with an secret number that is tied to your digital vote. You can go online later and look up your vote to see if it was recorded correctly - but only if you have that secret number. Every single vote can be seen by everyone and the voters secret number is next to that vote. I can see how everyone voted but can't see who they are, just their secret number. Everyone can check the accuracy of their own votes to make sure nothing was changed. Everyone can see all the votes and I can see which vote is mine. that solves the problem of someone who has access to voting system changing votes.

But that leaves the possibility of somebody creating votes out of thin air and assigning those votes to a made up secret number. To solve that, each receipt would show that you were voter number X today - which would be the last 4 digits of your secret number . Anyone in town could check their last 4 digits against the guy voting in front of them and the guy voting behind them - if they wanted too. This proves that no votes were slipped in between votes. If numbers were skipped, it would be noticed.

At the end of the voting day, polling places would publish the number of voters at that site. And, since all the votes were available on line, you could verify that there were X # of votes recorded at your polling place. If the people working the polls counted 2,500 votes and the online record showed 2,550 - something's fishy. Someone from each political party would be allowed to serve as observers to make sure the votes are being counted correctly - to keep the polling staffers honest.

Why is that surprising?
The country is split 50-50 why would the military be any different?

Seems like a lot. Why not just Televise the hanging of election cheats on the evening news. Probably be just as effective.

I have spoken to many current and military personal. The military is not split 50-50. 70-30 according to those I have spoke with.

Hold on a second, I want to know what sheep dip is. The Outfitter I use to work for in 85 said that all the time and i never did know exactly what it meant. I'm thinking he was referring to a certain flavor or consistency of the boiled coffee I made. Lol
He also said something to the effect of floating a horse shoe in the said beverage. ?

i think MORE effective. Except very few ever get corralled.

I think its time to toss voting machines in the creek. Tabulate votes by hand at every poll. Tabulate mail in ballots at every courthouse. If a county has more ballots than signatures on the rolls at the polls, or people that arranged mail votes or absentee votes, then toss the results of the whole county. Chase off poll watchers or deny access, toss the whole county. No counting done without poll watchers. No "finding" ballots. 24 hours its done.

They fear a "shadow government" led by a losing candidate who refuses to concede defeat, directly referencing former President Donald Trump.

And that little quote goes straight to the heart of the matter. ANOTHER made up "news story", some variation of which we will see daily from here until 2024. t still amazes me how scared the left is of this guy.

Generals are afraid of losing their $10000/month retirement?

Basically the current administration in charge is spreading this. They are afraid of the past administration. So IMO this administration is going to do something out of desperation to prevent this current administration from not getting re elected. Let’s Go Brandon

"Imagine competing commanders in chief - a newly reelected Biden giving orders, versus Trump (or another Trumpian figure) issuing orders as the head of a shadow government,"

So...
The illegal, traitorous "Let's Go Brandon" regime that so very obviously cheated to get in, should be protected from an actually duly elected replacement.
Hmmm...

Further, we all know they've gamed every possible scenario for every possible disaster for decades. It's SOP.
Thus their publishing an article about it is so very obviously getting us ready for even worse cheating in 2024.
So sad.

I can see plenty resting in peace to come but I wouldn’t say it’ll be America.
