Goofy looking scope

Picked up a Mueller 8-36 target scope refurbished from ebay for about have price. Figured the extra magnification would be nice for test loads and shooting groups but crap don't figure it would be THIS long

A longer barrel makes the scope look shorter. 20" barrel.

Sure does ! Currently trying to save save up to build a nice target style ar from the group up but it's gonna be a while with all my other bills

Remember , it is not how long your scope is , it is what you do with it........lol

I always liked the looks of a long scope. I grew up shooting a 22 bolt gun my Dad had worked over, and the scope looked long on it. It was a skinny tube on that scope. But was 3/4s the length of the barrel. He had cut the barrel down and changed the angle of the bolt, refinished the stock and checkered 3/4s of the stock.

Your hands must have looked extra tiny when you pulled that out of the box.
