Federal Prairie Storm - 01/09/22 01:45 AM

Ill admit i havent patterned it. I grabbed a box midseason last year and shot about half of them and ran across one more this December. I haven't sought it out, but it sure wasnt the places i was, at least in 12 gauge. I have shot enough birds now with it that I believe the hype. I dont know if its those goofy Saturn looking pellets or what, but that load does some damage. Even if the bird isnt dead, im not having any runners. And its often dead. When the bird goes down, it’s there. Used to buy the cheapest “hi-brass” there was but now im willing to do the buck per shell thing.

I haven't tried it but would at a buck a round they seemed to want more like 35-40 a box when I saw it

I paid 20 a box for some of what should have been cheapish #5

most of my birds came rather close this year , well the ones I got any way shot the tail off one and it just kept flying about 300 yards set down then we chased it around on the ground and it seemed uninjured and took off again this time flying over the fence to where we could not go.

I hate it. Kills roosters a little too dead imo. I hate losing crippled birds but no reason to turn them inside out. In the end I gave them away and did real good with nitro mag pheasant.
