Turned the medium size wolf I got the other day.Put it on the board last night to dry,Sprayed it down with water this morning, set it in the cold room for an hour-turned easy, including feet.
If it was bigger It would sell for good money.Cant say a number, each skin sells alone not in lots and proper handling is BIG when it comes to wolves and other potential taxi species. Its all about the head and feet as far as the handling goes. The best price I ever got for wolfhides at auction was the Light Tawneys, exception being clear blacks.
I tried it once-way too much hassel. Way easier for an American to come here and buy it and take it back with him. I've sold quite a few to people here hunting with an outfitter. They had no problems bringing them back to the states.
