A friend and I got checked way out in the desert of Central Oregon by two federal officers while we were dove hunting. This was about 50+ years ago. They were driving a Ford Galaxie, we had a 4 wheel drive pickup and thought we needed it. I guess they made it home. They both were wearing suits, no tie though.
