I had to look it up. I could not remember this one by the book and numbers.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Ya hope that every time you screw up, the guy didn’t feel the pain again for ya.

I was more familiar with this translation..

" Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;"

Your translation flows better.

Christ's death and suffering, is in one way at least, a portrayel of how damaging sin is

When I sin, - screw up- me or someone pays the price

“ we do this in remembrance of our sins”

We should feel the pain by looking at the cross.
