It's not snowing but its a little fuzzy out. About the entire north third of the state is "no travel advised" The picture is looking SW. There are two telephone pole in that picture. One is about 100 yards. My mail box is in there too about 70 yards.

Terrific. Much better than 90+ degrees and humid as a sauna. I'd take the snow any day over that!

you can put more cloths on , but at a point reached very quickly you just can't take any more off

and then to make it worse the Mosquitos if downing a puddle of your own sweat wasn't bad enough , those little (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) have to suck your blood

It's 3 below with a 40-50 mph wind. They are saying 20 below tonight for the low. It was 19 above when I got up and the wind started up about 05:30 out of the NW. I don't care for 90 above much, but could stand some 35-40 above. I like spearing in a T shirt.

Sounds like about time to break out a light sweatshirt.

It is around -35 with wind chill, so you may want a cap and pull the hood up. A pair of light gloves would be nice too in case you get high centered in a snow drift while walking.

I suppose, if you don't have pockets in the sweatshirt... smile

This will be my last winter in MN. I just can't take the cold anymore. I am sick of my feet and hands being cold ALL the time! I am going to start looking for a little shack in Kentucky or somewhere in that general area to hole up in from Christmas to around the middle of March.

It was not really fit for man or beast out there today. The wind has slacked off some, and I can see the mail box and telephone poles, but its down to -6 and pretty clear out. It will drop all night.

A goose has a brain the size of a pea and it is smart enough to get out of here before winter.

If I had it my way I would blacktop it all and just paint it green.

It seems like they like to do that, cows included. We show more snow early next week, so she may wait on that.
