And they hauled them out of the woods on the fender of that model A behind them, but I wonder who lifted them up on the meat pole!

They had to have some big equipment to get those moose out of the woods and hung!

I am blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other but something doesn’t look right in the picture. Anyone else see it the same?

Big equipment could have been horses. Common enough horses used in the firewood and lumber woods years ago.

logging horses were the bush haulers

one thing for sure that I would not be attaching on the antlers and fee standing....or standing under them afterwards.

I still cut some with horses. Oak, hickory, pine, hemlock. I cut. The Amish and I trim. They pull out logs with two horse team. Slow gets it done. No ruts in my land.
