This year is not looking good or at least it has started off that way. The first week... I lost a 1rst cousin We were born on the same day and year.
The 2nd week of January, I lost a 2nd cousin, she was a couple older that me, but I was in close touch with her, teaching her about our family through genealogy. Also, the 2nd week I lost my last trapping buddy around here. The only one I could sit down and talk to about trapping and fishing.
The 3rd week of January... I guess it was okay.
This week... Tues lost a friend, Weds. Lost a friend and Thursday lost another friend.
It looks like it doesn't pay to be related to me or a friend mine... And then there is the weather... IT SUCKS !!!!

Sorry to hear about all your losses, especially the trapping buddy one I have to imagine that is real tough. We need some of you moire experienced guys to get on a radio station and talk trapping so us younger bucks can have something to listen to on the way to the line.

Garry, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be praying for you your family and friends.
I've been been there before having lost many friends and family in short time frames and multiple in the same week. There were a few times my bride was at 1 funeral while I was at another funeral. If I remember right 1 year we had around 20 funerals.

Always check in Saturdays paper the obits and sometimes you find what you don't want in that another associate has passed.

I always read obits first, just to make sure neither my wife or I am in there! So far so good! lol. Sorry to hear Garry, we just take it one day at a time.
