Iam saying with a 4 oz bottle of backbreaker....that Tom Brady will be in a football uniform come next September..opening day. If you think it's a slam dunk he's retired.... put up your jar of backbreaker...and we will have a bet.

Ok, this may be a stupid question. But didn't he have a contract to play for Tampa Bay next year? Can he quit, then go play for someone else when he had a contract? Wouldn't he have to wait out a year? I have no real idea how the contracts work, but it seems like if he plays next year, it would have to be for Tampa Bay. Google says he had a two year contract with Tampa Bay, then signed an extension for one more year, which should be next year.

Explain to me if possible, how it would work.

He wouldn't leave the game a while back to make sure that Gronk made an extra half million incentive bonus.
He won't leave now until he stays past the date where he receives his back-ended signing bonus. That day is coming up pretty soon.
I cannot blame him for ether one of those moves.
