Soady Deer Camp Thread - 03/01/22 12:57 PM

Can we start a thread where we post pictures of deer camp. I think those old north woods deer camp pictures are some of my favorites. I will try to find some good ones to add

Here is the "deer shack" that was built out of boredom when Covid first started. That "One Eyed Trapper" guy sure makes nice lumber.

Metal roof piled it up. My buddy Bob took the pic and sent it to me, I haven't been out there in a month.

One room, propane lights, woodstove, no electricity, no TV
Three generations and friends!
Sleeps 6 upstairs on cots, that's if no one overloads the woodstove and cooks you out! Sleeps as many as show up on Saturdays!

Lots of good talks, good food and laughs. Deer on the hanging pole are a bonus! Everything is brought in by ATV.
If you can find it you can use it, doors always left open and wood inside!

Maybe the best part of any deer/bear camp.

Awesome pictures! I don’t have any on my phone but we have so many good memories in northern Wisconsin, I’m going to have to dig through albums at my folks house this week sometime.
