I will turn 67 this July. If I make it, I will set a record for my parents 4 children. So far the oldest any of us got was 66 yrs and 11 months. I'm the last of the Mohicans.

I’ve got a few guys at work interested in trapping as a hobby after seeing some of the fun I’ve had over the years. But they throw their catches in a freezer and sell in the round, so, far from die hards, but I try to keep encouraging them. One guy is 40 with a teenager son that runs them with him and I play up the trappers know more woodsmanship than any other outdoorsman card with them since the son is big into hunting too. The other guy is 26 and has had some luck trapping so hopefully will stick with it. It’s a lot of work though and guys burn out fairly easy sometimes.

We definitely have a diverse group...some of you I don't recall seeing your posts, others are posting frequently, let's make sure and communicate the best we can. cant disagree with that.
i do wonder how much the numbers on here could be skewed though compared to other social media forums. forums/board like this tend to be somewhat of a relic. i do see a number of younger members from here also posting to other groups. not that the old timers arent also but i maybe just havent noticed it as much

Seems a lot of people got into trapping in the 1970's. I am one of them. Trapping full time in the 80's I was in the glory days of my life and didn't know it.
I look at myself in those Professionals of Trapping videos with Tom Miranda and I realize I was a different person in 1993 than I am now.

Bob, make sure you sign up for Medicare. You have three months to do it prior to turning 65. If you don’t you’ll be penalized on the premium for the rest of your life.
I saw your post on your stents. Had two stents in 2013, no problems since. Hope it goes well for you.

I’ll be 68 in July. I know I’m aging but it hasn’t caught up with me yet, aside from the grey hair. No real health issues to speak of and I can still work hard everyday.
