"The Southern Trapper" holsters - 03/12/22 02:19 AM

Just wondering if anyone has experience with or owns a holster from "The Southern Trapper" holsters.
I ordered this one for my S+W 586 L Comp and for $235.00, I'm looking for reassurance shocked The belt clips are removable and you can carry it as an OWB holster (which I will definitely do). Thanks for any replies [Linked Image]

I guess I'll give my review when it gets here.

Beautiful holster.

But I'm CHEAP!

LOL, just ordered a few of these days in pocket holsters.

Less than 4 bucks, with free shipping!

I'm cheap, too.

for that kind of money, there better be a pistol in it when it arrives.

Hey that one has beaver tail on it. Worth every penny. Let's hope it becomes a fad and the tail market takes off.

Agree, although if I bought one I’d want the entire holster to be made from beaver leather. Each their own.

I'm cheap too, but this gun and holster combo is my "heirloom" gun. I always wanted a "nice" 1911 with a "nice" leather holster, but I have never liked manual safeties. So, I decided to go with a revolver.
Lead time is 7-10 weeks, so I patiently wait.

Sorry, I'm wedded to Bianchi leather, but thanks for choosing a S & W revolver, my favorite carry piece. When I leave my property.

^^^ If you're gonna buy a revolver, it SHOULD be a S+W.

Holy smokes, Batman.

And Biden thinks there isn’t enough money in circulation.

This combo came from some of the "free" money.

The 19 reviews are for this particular holster (the one I'm getting) and I've read them all. All very positive, but I trust what my fellow T-Man family says more than unknown people.

I'm an Urban Carry - Lock Leather OWB everyday carry guy.

Great holsters and for $70ish bucks, I think they're a great buy. I'm a repeat buyer and recommend these to anyone that asks about a good holster. Gun is secure. Quality craftsmanship. Good fit that doesn't dig in anywhere.

Same here. Nice holster, but I could buy the materials and make my own for less

I'm cheap too but I'll spend on a quality item that looks great and will last a long time. I used to get my holsters custom made out of horsehide by Andy Arratoonian (Horseshoe Leather Products) in England. He'd make them as the orders came in. I have one that saw daily wear for about twenty years and is just starting to get broken in. They aren't cheap, about $150.00.

The term "buy once cry once" applies here.

Nice holster Ditchdiver!

^^^Thank you. If I had the knowledge, I'd make my own. I don't, so I'm buying the one that I like the most.
