Political crooks and felons

So being in my 70s I started paying attention to politics when you got drafted but could not vote. Remember Watergate and lots of other scandal's and wrong doings by politicians both sides and all branches. For the life of me however can only remember one Senator or maybe he was a congressman from IL or Iowa maybe that ever did jail time. I remember lots getting convicted of something, censored (kind of like quiet time) but never any going to jail. Seems like a disparity. So what is even the use of all the congressional hearings, subpoenas, testimony and waste of tax payer money. What a mess and don't see how it will ever get fixed, Crooks guarding the hen house, they dont pay their taxes, benefits for life, under the table perks, just not right.

Yet there are some who would give up even more freedoms and give these knot heads even more control.

Explain that one to me

All the hearings, all the finger pointing, all the hand wringing, is just a dog and pony show. An illusion to make you the American voter believe your "representative" will be held to account when all the facts come out. Look at Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Flapping their lips and wagging their tongues constantly about border security, wasted tax dollars, crimes by politicians and their families, on and on. those two are all over the news. Ask yourself what they have accomplished past flapping their lips? Now look at liberals you don't like. Constantly flapping their lips. Talk incessantly about corruption, law breaking, on and on and on. what have they accomplished? Its all a dog and pony show so you dont pay attention to the real agenda.

Trump still blabbers about the second amendment but it was Trump and bumpstocks that let the ATF ASSUME the authority to interpret and thereby change established regulation with just a proclamation.

Obama whined and bawled about the greed of corporate America but never had a real job. Ever. Part time professor at a community college. Yet he is a multi millionaire today. Where did all the money come from? How does a guy who was called Barry Soto when he was an immigrant get to be a citizen by birth when his name is changed to Barrack Obama?

Its both parties working toward the same goal. Dog and pony show on Fox news today and Good Morning America to hide that truth.

It’s all political theater danvee, a show put on for voters. And anybody that thinks there will be anything serious happening to the Bidens for their long history of crimes is living in La La Land. That is never going to happen.

you can't logically pin that on Trump...the fact that "regulations" and "definitions" aren't voted on by the Legislature; but rather empowered to the Agencies BY the Legislature.

you are absolutely wrong about the first time definitions. ATF ALLOWED trigger-assisting devices in the past...many folks wanted them defined as a "machine gun", but ATF (at the time) did not do so, relying on a standard definition.

Trump had his faults, but I think it is the height of Foolishness to denigrate the "good" at the expense of "perfection". When you get a 100 percent Constitutionalist to run (WHO IS THAT, Danny?????); I'll glady support them.

I supported Trump. Just think its important to point out his short comings. I was disappointed when he agreed to that first stimulus check too. Still don't know why he didn't fire Fauci and let the virus run its course instead of shutting down the economy.

I'm guessing Trump okd that in return for congress to drop the anti-gun bills that had more than enough support to pass at the time. Manchin-Toomey and Finsteins are two I remember being pushed right after our worst mass killing in Vegas.

It turned out that way, those bills went away. But this is offbase of the crooks in D.C., most of which are career leftist bureaucrats.

Good thing for them they are pushing through a law to make lynching a federal crime. I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with actually helping people of color and everything to do with trying to save thier own skins from being dragged into the street and strung up like they deserve.
