Please pray for my wife

Friday morning she had bad stroke, they flew her to Sioux falls.
I can give more information when I am able.

Update: She had a stroke in her brain stem. She can't move her arm or leg, and speech is not working well. She's getting better each day, but it's a long road of recovery. I live an hour and 40 minutes from where she will be doing rehab. I'm going to have to spend many nights in the hotel, eating out, and not working. Any donation will be appreciated!

Thanks again, she's feeling a little better now, better spirits, she can talk a little bit better still hard to do yet.
They want to start therapy asap, she can barely move her foot, but the arm isn't responding. She can eat yogurt or mash potatoes, she doesn't swallow well yet

Sitting up last night she passed out, the nurses aids right there, I was so scared, I thought something really bad happened so glad she was ok later

My 81 year old Mom went through a stroke several years ago and intense therapy helped her very much. Her speech returned and she regained the use of her arm and leg as well. Took about a month in the hospital and another month at home. Sounds like your wife is absolutely headed in the right direction. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.

She was tired before physical therapy today, it was a rough session for her, she got sick again, when done they laid her in bed, instantly asleep
Poor girl is trying her best, she wants her hand and leg to work again.
It's still hard to try and sit up without falling over

That’s tough the PT will be grueling but it’s the only way to get better, I hope she regains her abilities.

That's awesome, thank you, I needed that, it was worse today, except therapists got her to move her leg , and a little arm, mental stuff she was so tired all day, she didn't speak as well

Some of the money we got from go fund me will go to hyperbaric chamber oxygen treatments, supposed to be very helpful for stroke victims , fibromyalgia, arthritis, Alzheimer's, ms

Tough day today, she could barely do most of her 3 hours of therapy, she was awake maybe an hour that she wasn't in therapy, slept almost all week day
Normally she drinks 4-6 bottles of water, today I asked three times for the jelly lemon water, it took till after supper before we got some, these two day nurses suck, they are not good at their job.
The others have been very helpful and good

Thanks everyone, last night and yesterday were tough for her, she is afraid she won't be able to use her arm n leg, her speech and swallowing are much better.
Today was much better, I had to come back home, my son and family there this weekend

It sounds like she has lots of love and support, as long as you're seeing improvement there's room for more, God be with you all.

It takes Time...my Speech took over a year to get to 90% , I still hang up on F's and Stress makes my speech issue pop up. My left side paralysis went away near 6 months after Prayer and anointing wit oil. Praise God for that.
Left side strength took time.

I spent 13 months flat on my back in the hospital. I spent a lot of time worrying about what I couldn't do.

The best thing your gal can do is not worry about what MIGHT happen. Just do the PT and enjoy all the things she CAN do. She'll figure out ways around the things that don't work the way they used to. Positive attitude goes a long way and worry doesn't help at all.
