Anyone ever heard of them? It is something my Dads side of the family ate. It is made with Boiled potatoes, boiled heavy dumplings about nickel size, melted cheese and browned butter. We add cubed ham to it. Anyone eat anything like it?

Sounds like something Irish, ie: Peat moss, and what ever sockers is slang for! LOL

Could they have been potstickers or a spinoff of potstickers? They are dumplings with often the same ingredients.
